About Us
Meet As You Are is an accessible connection network for autistic adults and those navigating assessment. Because connecting with others shouldn't require a performance.

My Story
I am Brandon, the founder of Meet As You Are.
For approximately 99.5% of my life, I lived without knowing I was autistic. Navigating the world without a diagnosis and facing the agonisingly long wait for an official assessment meant that for nearly all my life, the support I genuinely needed simply wasn’t there. I was forced to figure everything out on my own, moving through the world by continuous trial and error.
While my autism grants me the ability to view reality from a completely different perspective, it has also presented profound, everyday challenges.
To cope and understand, I turned to one of my deepest special interests: philosophy. While I haven’t yet found a single definition for the meaning of life that I am content with, my exploration constantly uncovers one universal truth: the absolute necessity of connection.
Connecting with others and sharing new experiences may not be the ultimatum for all existence, but I firmly believe it is the very best we can do while we are here.
Yet, autistic adults are often the most likely to struggle with socialising and forming bonds. Having autism does not mean you desire to live in isolation.
This is exactly where Meet As You Are was born. I wanted to give autistic adults the exact opportunity I lacked: a space to connect deeply, develop authentic relationships, and discover diverse new experiences, all without ever being forced to mask or perform.
